About Zambia

With  more than 5,000 cubic meters of water flowing over the edge a minute, Victoria Falls offers not only a serene backdrop to enjoy your morning coffee, but the opportunity for a unique canoe or boat safari. It also offers the chance to act like an idiot while swimming in Devil’s Pools just inches from the drop of death, and the opportunity to soar helicopter high above the largest waterfall in Africa. Not only does this African nation house one of the largest rivers in Africa, but some of the biggest National Parks in the world. It doesn’t stop there, Zambia offers the trifecta of travel: wildlife, natural wonders and human connection. Villages hugging the major rivers, Zambezi, Kafue and Luangwa are more brilliantly colorful than the misted rainbow reflection you’ll see from the smoke that thunders.

When to Go: May-October is dry season, which is better for wildlife viewing and the mist at Victoria Fall might be significantly less than during the wet season of Dec-April.
